Create a Plex Account

To use Plex.red, you need a free Plex account.

Steps

1. Go to https://plex.tv
2. Click Sign Up
3. Choose a login method:
4. Email + password
5. Google
6. Apple
7. Facebook
8. Verify your email if prompted

Once your Plex account is created, you’re ready for the next step.

Log in to Plex.red

Plex.red uses Plex OAuth — meaning you log in securely using your Plex account.

Steps

1. Visit https://plex.red
2. Click Sign in with Plex
3. Approve the login request
4. You will be redirected back to Plex.red as a logged‑in user

You now have access to your personal dashboard.

Request Access to Libraries

On Plex.red, you can request access to the available media libraries. You do not manage your own libraries — you request access to the ones hosted on Plex.red.

Steps

1. After logging in, open the Libraries page
2. You will see a list of available libraries (Movies, TV Shows, Films NL, etc.)
3. Click Request Access for the libraries you want
4. Your request will appear in your dashboard as Pending

Once approved, your Plex account will automatically receive access to the selected libraries.

Start Streaming Using Plex

After your access is approved, you can start watching immediately.

Steps

1. Open https://play.plex.red or use any Plex app (TV, mobile, tablet)
2. Log in with your Plex account
3. Go to More Servers
4. Select PLEX.RED
5. Browse the libraries you have access to
6. Start streaming

Your access is tied to your Plex account, so it works on all your devices.
